Wow...just....WOW! Was not familiar with UYGHUR culture and never experienced the cuisine until today. Went there with my BF's for my birthday. Complimentary traditional bread with dipping sauce hot - right out of the oven. We all had soup--AMAZING fresh herbs perfectly seasoned and the tea.....OH BOY.....best tea ever! Lemon Ginger and Berry Tea comes in BIG glass pitchers ---always hot because the stand has a tea candle. Made with fresh herbs and fruit. WHAT A GREAT ATMOSPHERE and FANTASTIC FOOD! GENEROUS portions. Asked the server what the busiest days are ---she said EVERYDAY....certainly not surprised. In business for only one year. I think they might need to expand in the near future! This might be the best restaurant I had the pleasure of experiencing! A great birthday, indeed

This was the best meal I have had in a while. Our server was so kind. It was our first time in so she showed us a menu with photos to help us decide on our dishes. She even brought us boorsok on the house to try. There's a button on the table you can press to call your server which is nice as it was pretty busy. The food was excellent. Fresh. Huge portions. Flavorful. We had the plov, fried manti (perhaps my favorite thing), and fricasse with chicken. I am dreaming about the fruit tea. Not too sweet, full of flavor. Will be back for sure!

Absolutely best beef dumpling soup I've ever had this restaurant is so adorable. The staff are so cute and nice and the food is incredible. They give you these small puffs of bread with a yogurt sauce which is just so delicious. I've never seen anything like it and then bring a bottled water and the beef dumpling soup comes with sour cream. The broth is incredible. It is so well flavored the beef dumplings are perfect size. Well priced ! this place is heaven on earth and I cannot wait to come back and try everything else. I highly highly highly recommend. It is absolutely delicious. The restaurant is clean and comfy and cozy. The staff is awesome. Such a gem!!'

The food here was amazing, i came for the first time with my family. We wanted to try something new! I called them up and they advised we can just walk in. We needed a table for 9 people; Once we arrived we were greeted and walked to our table right away they had already prepared for us since the initial phone call. The food was very tasty, & worth the wait. We had ordered some appetizers and tea while waiting for the mail entree's. They have plenty of different tea options you wont be disappointed.

I would go back just for the tea and berries. Its black tea so it does have caffeine but I highly recommend it. The menu is very bereft of details so you probably want to look up photos if you can but notably the confusion was around the difference with the lagman. One is fried, one has the ingredients and the sauce/vegetables served separately and one seems more like a soup. Speaking of soups I really liked the dumpling. The beef broth is excellent. The restaurant is very casual and is clearly popular with the Uyghur diaspora since it was packed when we went later at night for dinner. Our sever only spoke some English but we made do just fine. I will be back for sure

This place opened its doors on January 4th, 2024. Faiza Chicago specializes in Uighur cuisine, but owners and employees are Kyrgyz - which makes sense. Interior decor and atmosphere reminds me of Central Asian towns. Food is fresh and very tasty and prices affordable. Meat-lovers will like it there. Their menu is still being in development. So some minor changes are expected.
